macOS Recovery is the built-in recovery system of our Mac, and macOS recovery mode in Apple Silicon Macs is the same. For years, we boot into this special mode to restore Time Machine backups, reinstall Mac operating system when it’s crashed, repair the startup disk when it’s corrupted or damaged. All these in Intel-based Macs are approached by Command + Option + R using the local recovery system.
